    Mélanie [mel-uh-nee] - A captivating coral with a blend of peach, apricot, and sheer layers of pink, for a fresh, fluorescent flush of color. Created to match the vibrancy of Mélanie Huynh, one of my best friends and a frequent collaborator.

    A flush not a blush. This unique marbled formula features a swirl of two shades – one sheer and the other a richer hue – that blend together to create a seamless, multidimensional flush inspired by the 'sfumato' painting technique. The result is a true-to-life flush, like the one your cheeks get when you receive an unexpected compliment. Build to your desired effect and easily blend with the attached brush, without disturbing your makeup underneath. The custom-created brush is detachable and washable for convenience.

    Violette's Inspiration: "I’ve been obsessed with Neoclassical and Italian Renaissance paintings since my art school days, especially the techniques the masters used to create radiant, true-to-life skin. They blended colors so subtly that the flush on the cheeks appeared to come from within – almost like layers of transparent color. Years later, when I had my first daughter Inès, I was captivated by the natural flush on her sweet cherubic cheeks. I like to say that Bisou Blush is just a kiss of color on the cheek, because it mirrors that very natural flush we all have."

    To create the most fresh-faced flush, dot Bisou Blush onto cheeks, then use the attached brush to blend the colors in. No need to worry about disrupting your foundation (if you're wearing any) – the brush is firm enough for blending yet soft enough to preserve your existing makeup.

    Good color/texture. Bad customer experience

    "I really like the color and texture of this product. It looks very natural and sun-kissed. The product last for several hours, however you need to re-apply it in the middle of the day if you’re going for an all day makeup. My only issue was the mail carrier used for international purchases. I ordered my product on July 9 and it took 14 days to get to me (from the US to Mexico, literally neighboring counties). Little to no updates were provided by the mail carrier and there was no contact info left either. I don’t know if I’ll order again as this is not a good customer experience. My recommendation is to stick to traditional and bigger mail carriers that are professional and also to provide express shipping to international orders (which are not an option currently)."
