An antioxidant-rich balm-meets-lipstick that delivers a sheer kiss of couleur and a touch of natural shine. Engineered with two distinct layers—a pigmented core that allows for blurred color within the natural lip, and an outer jelly layer infused with Vitamin E—this unique formula results in juicy, just-been-kissed lips, building on Bisou Balm’s signature French “bouche mordue” (just-bitten lips) look with a volume-enhancing sheen.

Bonbon à la Rose: An easy-to-wear, soft nude pink inspired by traditional French rose pastilles.

Pomme d’Amour: A bright candy apple red reminiscent of the glossy candied apples that fascinated Violette as a child.

Bonbon Caramel: A rich, caramel brown that gives lips a touch of natural warmth and luminosity.

Aïssa: A coveted berry shade borrowed from Bisou Blush, inspired by Violette’s longtime muse, French actress Aïssa Maïga.

Recommended use

Prior to first use, prime the bullet on a paper towel or your hand to release pigment. The unique jelly outer layer first hydrates your lips, creating a smooth base that allows the color core to reveal its full intensity. To achieve a just-bitten lip with natural shine, swipe Bisou Jelly flat onto bare lips, applying the jelly layer just above the natural lip line. Layer multiple coats for buildable color payoff. Et voilà!

    How do I get the most color payoff from Bisou Jelly?

    Prior to first use, we recommend warming up the formula by priming it on the back of your hand or a paper towel. This will help the color core deposit the maximum amount of pigment, while prepping the outer jelly to deliver optimal hydration and shine. Apply additional layers to achieve greater depth of color.

    How do I apply Bisou Jelly?

    Apply the pigmented core to the naturally colored area of your lips, and apply the outer jelly just beyond the natural lip line (where you still have volume but no natural pigment). This will create the ‘Bouche Mordue’ or just-bitten lips look, with a natural shine, ultimately giving the visual effect of fuller-looking lips.

    What is the difference between Bisou Balm and Bisou Jelly?

    Both Bisou Balm and Bisou Jelly are designed to give you a kiss of couleur for that effortless just-bitten lips look. Bisou Balm provides a comfortable blurred-matte finish, while Bisou Jelly’s hydrating formula offers a natural shine finish.

    I noticed some cosmetic condensation on the bullet. Is my product defective?

    No, your product is not defective. The cosmetic condensation (or slight sweating of the product) is a perfectly normal phenomenon that occurs due to the presence of oil-based ingredients and waxes in the formula. This will not affect the safety or performance of the lipstick.
