Recommended use

Bisou Balm: Swipe Bisou Balm onto bare lips, applying just beyond the natural lip line. You can layer up to three coats depending on how much pigment you want. If you have very dry lips, moisturize lips before applying.

Bisou Jelly: Prior to first use, prime the bullet on a paper towel or your hand to release pigment. The unique jelly outer layer first hydrates your lips, creating a smooth base that allows the color core to reveal its full intensity. To achieve a just-bitten lip with natural shine, swipe Bisou Jelly flat onto bare lips, applying the jelly layer just above the natural lip line. Layer multiple coats for buildable color payoff. Et voilà!

Petal Bouche: Starting at the Cupid’s bow, use the tip of the applicator to paint a V just above your lip line following the volume of your lips. Connect the corners of your mouth to the top of the V and then extend to the bottom lip. This technique creates a fuller and less severe looking lip by cheating the lip line.

Use the base of the applicator to fill in, layering for more depth and drama. Finish by blurring the edges with a fingertip or brush to create a French-kissed look.

Tip: Before applying, scrape the applicator against the opening of the tube if needed to remove any excess product.

    Prior to first use, we recommend warming up the formula by priming it on the back of your hand or a paper towel. This will help the color core deposit the maximum amount of pigment, while prepping the outer jelly to deliver optimal hydration and shine. Apply additional layers to achieve greater depth of color.

    How do I apply Bisou Jelly?

    Apply the pigmented core to the naturally colored area of your lips, and apply the outer jelly just beyond the natural lip line (where you still have volume but no natural pigment). This will create the ‘Bouche Mordue’ or just-bitten lips look, with a natural shine, ultimately giving the visual effect of fuller-looking lips.

    Both Bisou Balm and Bisou Jelly are designed to give you a kiss of couleur for that effortless just-bitten lips look. Bisou Balm provides a comfortable blurred-matte finish, while Bisou Jelly’s hydrating formula offers a natural shine finish.

    I noticed some cosmetic condensation on the bullet. Is my product defective?

    No, your product is not defective. The cosmetic condensation (or slight sweating of the product) is a perfectly normal phenomenon that occurs due to the presence of oil-based ingredients and waxes in the formula. This will not affect the safety or performance of the lipstick.
