There’s more than meets the eye with this precious, one-of-a-kind gilded piece — designed by Violette to be used as a mirror to reflect, a makeup mixing palette to create, and functional art to collect. With it’s golden reflection, it inspires you to see beauty differently and celebrate the muse and artist in you.
The minimalist design was crafted avec amour with zamac derived from Post Industrial Recycled material. Paired with Object de Réflexion is a recycled vegan leather pouch and a soft lint-free cloth to keep clean. Available exclusively at violettefr.com.
Violette's Inspiration: “Object de Réflexion is an heirloom piece that celebrates who you are now and the years to come. A passageway into your most intimate self. I created this piece to inspire you to think about your reflection in a new way. Instead of seeing things that you need to fix, my wish is that you will see yourself as a muse and an artist to be celebrated. If we start to think like this around beauty, we will have a much healthier relationship with ourselves, which is so powerful.

Recommended use
To keep clean, gently wipe the Object de Réflexion with the included lint-free cloth. If used as a makeup mixing palette, gently use a makeup wipe to remove any products applied directly to the piece. Like any well-loved heirloom, Object de Réflexion may get some scratches over time, but to best care for it we recommend keeping it in its carrying case when not in use.

"I wanted this piece for a long time. I’m in the UK, so tend to make one decent order a year as a treat to myself, and gradually through the years, I’ve been accumulating Violette products. This is expensive, a splurge, and not wholly practical - the weight, it’s not giving you the detailed reflection of a classic mirror, but it is a beautiful item, weighty and like a very chic fiddle toy, it gives you a softened glowy reflection and works perfectly fine to check or apply your lipstick. Is it essential, is it a practical purchase? No, but I knew this before I purchased it, and I love it, I really do."

"Ignore that ignorant person who wrote a 1-star review. If you can't see the value in spending $68 on a mirror that is SOLID METAL, functional art, and so aesthetic then DON'T BUY IT. Buy something that doesn't look as beautiful and will break easily. That's your choice. But if you want something of the utmost quality, that can be used as a palette as well as a mirror, and is just a luxury to hold and gaze at because of its beauty— then you've found the right piece. I never write reviews but this piece warranted one. Breathtaking."
