With Plume Blush, I drew inspiration from the velatura painting technique where thin veils of semi-opaque color create light through depth. I wanted the softness of a powder with the melt of a cream—buildable, blendable, mistake-proof, and ultra-diffused.”

Recommended use
For best results, apply with Le Kabuki or a round, dense brush by gently tapping into Plume Blush using a light stamping motion to pick up product. Sweep across the full cheek, then softly stamp additional color onto the apples, layering until you reach your desired intensity. Blend outward in small circular motions for a seamless, airbrushed flush. Can also be applied by tapping and blending with fingertips.

"I was so excited to receive this blush and be able to test it out. This brand has never let me down or disappointed me in anyway so I knew it would be great quality. I purposely chose the purple because this shade is notorious for being difficult to work on different skin tones and can come off ashy or clown like. It applied beautifully. It has an almost bouncy texture to it and I love that. It is buidable so you don’t have to worry about applying to much and having to take off alll your makeup to fix it. It looks great on me and also my much paler daughter. I can’t wait to get more shades of this. Try it out! Don’t be scared of the color it is really beautiful!"

"I have been loving using the plume blush for my everyday makeup because it looks so natural and blends so well into my skin. The blush starts off as cream but blends into a soft, powder finish. It makes my makeup have a blurred effect without applying too much cream and powder. I love how this is like two products in one! It is also very easy to apply. I usually use my fingers or a brush. I also find that the blush is easy to layer and is very buildable. The blush is not too too pigmented, but it does give a matte finish that makes my skin look smooth. This is perfect for everyday makeup but not as dramatic for going out. This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review."
Not your same old same old blush
"I have a number of Violette’s creations since she launched her own product line, and this blush is easily my favorite now. I ordered Latte Praline (with the brush), and the blush just blends like a dream (I have light to medium skin). It is pigmented so the lightest swipe from the pan is enough, but even if you mistakenly put more than intended (like I did the first time), you are able to buff it out beautifully, seamlessly. The effect is a breathable, blurred, veil of the prettiest color that naturally blends with your skin. I did not find that it disturbs makeup, although I don’t really wear foundation, just a touch of concealer in targeted areas. I ordered Amber Rouge Fume as well (from Sephora for faster delivery — sorry, but that’s how excited I was). I have my eye on the purple one next as I’ve seen it being layered beautifully with Latte Praline, the shade I originally bought. As with Bisou Balm and many others, Violette has once again created her own take on something we’re all familiar with and made it uniquely her own."

"I am new to violette fr products and this had just released and I thought why not. I am so glad I bought it. As a person with medium neutral olive skin with golden overtones in the summer, finding a blush that simultaneously looks skin native, not too bold, not disappear, flattering to my olive undertone, NOT orange has been a challenge. I bought Souvenir de Volubilis. It is amazing on my skin, looks so skin native, and just melts together. I also usually have issues with blushes just disappearing on me. After a 5km hike in 30C weather, it was still there and beautiful! Now I am hooked!!"
